I personally prefer to update to the latest version by running the utility built-in the BIOS (F7) in the Intel NUC Bios. There are different options on how to apply the latest version. At the time of writing it is version “57” available at this link. After a quick check from the Intel NUC 6i5SYH support page and filtering by Download and OS type we can get to he latest version of the firmware. As soon as we boot the Intel NUC there are the classic 3 options being “F2” the one we’ll be using to configure the BIOS.įrom the homepage of the Intel Visual BIOS we can check the current version of the firmware and the total memory installed. As mentioned in the previous article, we are now ready to review and configure the main Intel NUC BIOS settings making sure the installed RAM memory and Disk Drives are recognised and working properly.
